CBRF Training & Consulting currently provides the following training pathways Train the Trainer- enabling the individual to become a Department Approved Instructor. Upon successful completion the student will be added to the UWGB CBRF Registry as having completed a Train the Trainer Course. -Medication Administration -First Aid & Choking -Standard Precautions -Fire Safety DHS 83.20 Department Approved CBRF Employee Courses- enabling the individual to meet the DHS and Wisconsin requirements for employment within a CBRF facility. Other State licensed facilities may also require this training such as AFHs and RCACs depending on provider requirements. Upon successful completion the employee will be added to the UWGB CBRF Registry. Applications are accepted year round, and do not hold any deadline. This applies to both training pathways offered. https://www.cbrftraining.org CBRF Train the Trainer (4 courses offered) These 4 courses are approved by the Wisconsin DHS and UW Green Bay to meet the Train the Trainer requirements. Each instructor will receive a copy of the participant guide, facilitator guide, testing materials, as well as a power point presentation. Medication Administration 23 hours Standard Precautions 7 hours Fire Safety 9 hours First Aid & Choking 10 hours CBRF Employee Courses (4 courses offered) These 4 courses are provided by a State Approved Instructor and meet all UW Green Bay’s Care and Treatment Training Registry requirements. Each student will receive the participant guide and materials as required. Medication Administration 14 hours Standard Precautions 2 hours, plus testing time Fire Safety 3 hours, plus testing time First Aid & Choking 4 hours plus testing time
Train the Trainer courses provide participants with the program knowledge, training skills and curriculum to offer high-quality trainings within their own organizations or out in the community on the core curriculum for caregivers. After successful completion of this course, the participant will be able to apply to become a State Approved Instructor using the Train the Trainer option. After becoming an approved instructor the student can teach others in the community the courses they'll need to gain and maintain employment in State Approved facilities. Employee CBRF courses are designed are conducted using the State Approved standardized curriculum. The curriculum used is the only curriculum that is approved. Students will be added to the Registry and this is the sole verification to Wisconsin State Surveyor staff that the course has been completed on or after April 1 of 2010 with the DHS 83 re-write. Training pathways are ideal for those seeking future employment in Nursing.

All sales are final. If a student is unable to attend the courses entirely to obtain successful completion to meet course requirements, the student is able to attend the next session already being held with other students as an option. This only applies to courses previously scheduled and dependent on class size and seat availability.
